Author Biography

Alice Tawhai is of Tainui and Nga Puhi descent. Her life is a rich range of experiences, and this is reflected in her writing. Luminous, was a finalist in the Montana New Zealand Book Awards in 2008 and featured on Arts on Sunday, Radio New Zealand and was reviewed in multiple publications including the Dompost, New Zealand Books and Nine to Noon.
